Moroccan Yazid Bezaz Among the Creatives of the Tommy Jeans campaign

For its spring-summer 2021 campaign called “Music Takes Us Further”, Tommy Jeans highlighted the power of creativity to inspire social change by featuring twenty young artists from around the world, including the Moroccan manager Yazid Bezaz.

The Tommy Jeans Spring 2021 “Music Takes Us Further” campaign builds on the brand’s deeply rooted musical heritage. The campaign was animated by an eclectic mix of creative talent including musicians, poets and activists from diverse backgrounds. Each shares their unique perspective on using music to drive social change.

The Tommy Jeans campaign shoot and styling was done by an inspiring cast of creative talents spanning different nationalities, sizes, ethnicities and gender identities. Their individual journeys, perspectives and activism testify to the spirit of the Tommy Jeans brand. Among these creatives was Yazid Bezaz (Morocco) @izudizzy, Creative curator, musical director and co-founder of SOMNII (@somniiproductions), a music label aiming to put Moroccan rap and trap music on the global scene by supporting and amplifying the future voices of Marrakech, Morocco and North Africa.

For the occasion, a press event took place in the Tommy Jeans store in Marina Mall. This Tommy Jeans Store is the first concept of its kind in the Africa Middle East region with 120m² dedicated to the trendy world of this iconic American brand.
