After Frame, the Italian-Moroccan model, Malika el-Maslouhi, poses for the Italian luxury brand Missoni

Top model Malika el-Maslouhi, born to a Moroccan father and an Italian mother, is the “new modeling phenomenon” as Elle magazine described her last year. Indeed, the beautiful brunette’s schedule, shuffles shows from London to New York, through Milan and Paris, all the while posing for major fashion houses such as the Italian luxury brand Missoni on the occasion of its new spring 2022 campaign. Her credits also include a collaboration with Frame, Anthropologie, a brand that had established a partnership with the environmental NGO The Nature Conservancy, and Zara (Origins collection).

“I believe that modeling and fashion are not the futile universes that people imagine, had notably mentioned the model in her interview with Elle. I don’t have the instructions for changing mentalities… But look at girls like Adwoa Aboah or Paloma Elsesser, they are magical! They have become the spokespersons of the youth. At my level, I am working on a project that would help Moroccan designers gain visibility. Brands like Late For Work are underrepresented, yet they deserve more attention.”
