Haute Couture Fashion Week: Maurizio Galante collaborates with Moroccan embroiderers

The great French-Italian designer Maurizio Galante presented in Paris a collection made between Paris and Rabat, in collaboration with a Moroccan association helping young people in precarious situations.

Haute Couture Fashion Week in Paris launched on Sunday in several high-end places of the French capital, has put the Moroccan craftsmanship in the spotlight through the dazzling show of the Moroccan designer Nourredine Amir, but also the collection of the great French-Italian couturier Maurizio Galante, made largely in Rabat.

For his autumn-winter 2018-2019 collection “Rabat Cipango. Carnet de Voyage” Maurizio Galante transformed his parade into a demonstration of humanism and has chosen to explore the wonders of Moroccan ancestral know-how through a collaboration with the Moroccan Association for Assistance to Children in Precarious Situations (AMESIP). The fashion designer thus immerses himself in the Moroccan heritage to deliver a human and poetic interpretation of fashion.

A beautiful collaboration that puts the Moroccan touch in the heart of Parisian creations.
