The unique design of this timepiece thus includes a translucent emerald green bezel and red numbers. A palette of colors that celebrates the two-tone flag of Morocco.

But that’s not all, the customized Rolex also honors the cultural heritage of the singer with Arabic numbers inscribed on the Chrono on the left side, replacing the original Roman numerals.

Announcing the collaboration on Instagram, Skeleton Concepts noted that the customization of the Cosmograph Daytona 116520 represents a fragment of French Montana’s childhood.

“This concept is about his Moroccan culture, the streets of Casablanca, the Arabic beats, and music. For him, we created a tribute to his roots and origins. A (time)piece of memory that [he] will be able to wear on his wrist.

“This exceptional timepiece is a meaningful piece of jewelry. Skeleton Concept’s work is impeccable. My named concept is original, colorful and precise. Owning such a watch is having a piece of eternity on your wrist. A meaningful jewelry to one day give to my son.” Said French Montana.

French Montana is the first American rapper to have his own collaboration on Rolex Daytona.

This is not the first time that French Montana has celebrated his Moroccan heritage. The Moroccan-American rapper previously released a Morocco-inspired clothing line and shot a music video for his song “Famous” in Chefchaoun, Morocco’s blue pearl.
