One can not talk about Morocco without mentioning the traditional attire. Therefore, on October 28, the 2020 Dubai Expo held a fashion show featuring three Moroccan designers: Abdelhanine Raouh, Imane Tadlaoui, and Farah Benchekroun.

Partner of the Moroccan Pavilion, the Maison de l’Artisan kicked off on October 28 a series of five shows of young and confirmed Moroccan designers. This first meeting highlighted a generation of Moroccan designers united by the same passion.

Inspired by their origins, experiences, and encounters, three designers testify to the dynamism of the “fashion” sphere in Morocco and Dubai. They are Abdelhanine Raouh, Imane Tadlaoui, and Farah Benchekroun who honored the Moroccan caftan. The aim was to show visitors the cultural richness of Moroccan craftsmanship, the long-established know-how that has been able to travel and gain value through contemporary ready-to-wear creations.

The participation of the Maison de l’Artisan in the 2020 Dubai Expo thus aims to discover within the Moroccan Pavilion, a living national treasure transmitted from generation to generation, a form of life linked to the customs and ancient medinas of Moroccan cities but also an art that is part of the identity, culture, and personality of every Moroccan.
