“World Folklore Days” Returns for a Fourth Edition

The fourth edition of the international festival “World Folklore Days” will take place in Marrakech from October 26 to 30, 2022. The event honors cultural diversity from around the world and celebrates the musical national, and international folk on open-air stages within Marrakech city.

The international festival is the biggest event of cultural mixing and folk dance in Africa. It opens its curtains to its wide audience for the fourth time from October 26 to 30, 2022, in Marrakech, Place Jamaa el Fnaa square.

Organized by the Heritage and Folklore Association (APF). The event aims to strengthen the wonderful pillars of humanity: Love, Tolerance, and Peace. Each country in the world will have the opportunity to be represented by artists whose mission is to highlight their national and ethnic roots through folk dance.

The festival will host more than 600 artists. This world event will mark the participation of folk dance groups from different nations: Morocco- Estonia – Poland – Italy – France – Spain – Germany – Austria – Portugal – Mexico- Ireland – Croatia – Mali- Congo -Algeria – Senegal – Cote d’ ivory – UK…etc. All of which will discover and promote their heritage to local tourists and those from elsewhere.
The festival program will also include seminars with various themes: culture, heritage, and master classes to learn the techniques of musical art. These seminars and master classes will be supervised by professors, and specialists in the field.
