The Lioncelles de l’Atlas land in group A of the U-17 Women’s World Cup scheduled in India from October 11 to 30. The draw took place on June 23 in Zurich.
The U-17 women’s national football team, which snatched historic India World Cup qualification after beating Ghana in the second leg (4-2), will face hosts India, the United States of America, and Brazil. Other contestants include Germany, Nigeria, Chile, and New Zealand in Group B, Spain (defending holders), Colombia, Mexico, and China in Group C, and Japan, Tanzania, Canada, and France in Group D.
