Tibu Africa and UNHCR Morocco celebrate World Refugee Day

Tibu Africa, the main organization in the education and integration of young people and women through sport in Africa and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (HCR) Morocco celebrated World Refugee Day on June 20, launching the “Dunk for Refugees” program.

To celebrate World Refugee Day, June 20, Tibu Africa, the main organization in the education and integration of young people and women through sport in Africa, and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) Morocco highlighted the program for the socio-economic integration of young refugees through sport called “Dunk for Refugees”, launched around a sports meeting between a team of refugees and a team from TIBU Morocco.

Tibu Africa, the main NGO in Morocco and Africa that uses the power of sport to design social and innovative solutions in the field of education, empowerment, and socio-economic inclusion of young people and women through sport, always put the condition of the refugee in Morocco at the center of its interests.

Inspired by the National Immigration and Asylum Strategy, Tibu Africa is committed on this World Refugee Day to promoting the social and professional integration of young people by offering them educational and personalized support.

Tibu Africa also works to transform schools and neighborhoods and contributes to fighting against inequalities of destiny and restoring equal opportunities, particularly with regard to access to regular physical activity, employment, and Training.
