The new 2020 collection of Yule logs is irresistible. We have selected for the occasion, four exclusive creations to indulge in for this sweets season.

Architectural log

To create its now awaited Yule log, Mandarin Oriental, Marrakech requested, for the 3rd time, the talent of Yazid Ichemrahen, a young pastry prodigy. Lover of his homeland, Yazid Ichemrahen was inspired by the magnificent brick corridor of the Mandarin Oriental Spa, Marrakech, and its sublime perspective that evokes the ancient cathedrals and mosques of Andalusia, architectural masterpieces of the Almohads. A heritage that this admirer of Moroccan architectural art has reinterpreted through a creation called “Almohade” with graphic and refined lines, in brick and ocher colors emblematic of Marrakech, which sublimates the flavors of the soil and of Moroccan cuisine. Argan oil is subtly married to almond honey for the crunchiness, the orange blossom delicately perfumes its chocolate biscuit and its mousse, a tropical touch with its powerful creamy vanilla and a touch of cinnamon, magic spice of Moroccan cuisine, enhances its creamy caramel.

With its art deco aesthetic, this elegant Yule log signed Four Seasons Morocco Collection will be the dream of all dessert lovers. With this creation, the Four Seasons Morocco Collection once again pays tribute to Morocco, while enhancing its new pastry creation that will make you melt, with its chocolate Moucharabieh concealing a nut cookie, a crunchy with three pralines, and a nut mousse.

The Yule log at Es Saadi Marrakech Resort

Alliance of a fine gluten-free chocolate cookie and chestnut cream, the Christmas log at Es Saadi Marrakech Resort is emerging as the essential dessert for the end of the year celebrations. Coated with a light Madagascan vanilla mousse and a thin layer of white chocolate, the log is lightly dressed and is embellished with subtle silver leaves, a luxurious touch that promises an unforgettable gourmet moment.

The Atlas Garden log by Pierre Hermé in La Mamounia

Pierre Hermé imagined a collection of Yule logs, including an exclusive creation inspired by Moroccan flavors and craftsmanship. Bearing the pretty name of “Jardin de l’Atlas”, this signature log is composed of lemon shortbread, mascarpone cream with orange blossom, a touch of unctuous honey, a marmalade with orange blossom and lemon cream and jelly, all topped with a mashrabiya-style chocolate dome.
