NGO Tibu Africa selected for the “Women-Sport-Health” project

At the end of the 2021 “Woman-Sport-Health” call for projects, the NGO Tibu Africa, a player in social innovation through sport, is one of the 14 associations selected in the 43 Member States of the Confederation of Ministers of Youth and Sports of La Francophonie (CONFEJES).

Louisette-Renée THOBI, Secretary-General of the Conference of Ministers of Youth and Sports of La Francophonie (CONFEJES) and the first woman to this post, announced the selection of the NGO Tibu Africa among the 14 associations selected in the 43 States members, at the end of the 2021 “Women-Sport-Health” call for projects.

“Particularly honored to be part of the 14 associations selected at the end of a competitive call for projects involving the 43 member states of CONFEJES, Tibu Africa is committed, not only to continuing the development of initiatives putting sport at the center of the process of emancipation of the young girl, but also to be able to benefit the said initiatives to the maximum of young people on the African continent”, declared in particular, Mohamed Amine ZARIAT, Ashoka Fellow & Founding President of the NGO Tibu Africa.

Tibu Africa contributes every day to the emancipation of adolescent girls in rural areas through its many programs such as “Mama Fit” developing the empowerment of women in working-class neighborhoods or even within its centers focusing on the education of young girls by football.
