Moroccan Lamyaa Salaouaci was elected member of the Executive Committee of the Madrid Chamber of Commerce, becoming the first Arab-African woman member.

Director of the QUBE Foundation, Moroccan Lamyaa Salaouaci, has become the first Arab-African woman member of the Executive Committee of the Madrid Chamber of Commerce. Lamyaa Salaouaci was invested with her new function during a protocol ceremony held in the presence of the President of the Autonomous Community of Madrid, Isabel Ayuso, and the Mayor of Madrid, José Luis Martinez-Almeida.

“I am very happy to be the first Moroccan and African businesswoman to hold this position in Spain, a source of great pride for me and for my country”, declared Lamyaa Salaouaci, emphasizing that this choice” further strengthens the presence of Moroccan women in the economic and commercial field in a friendly and neighboring country like Spain”.

Based in Spain since 2020, Lamyaa Salaouaci took the helm of the QUBE Foundation as director in 2016. She is also CEO of the company Tradeventures, which is dedicated to the real estate of technology parks for companies dedicated to research.
