The film, in which actress Nisrin Erradi stars, tells the story of a young girl who struggles to overcome life’s difficulties and struggles on a daily basis to provide for herself for her bedridden mother.
Roughly fifty films, six of which were Moroccan, were shortlisted for the Black Iris Shield (Jordan’s National Flower ), best Arab feature film, best documentary film and best Arab short film.
In the category of the best short film, which put in competition 18 short films, the Moroccan film Aïcha won the special mention of the jury, while the Egyptian short film ‘The other plays’, directed by Sandro Kanâan, won the prize of the best Arabic short film.
