Moroccan actress Fatima Regragui died on Monday, August 2nd, 2021 at the age of 80 following a long illness.

An emblematic figure who left a mark on the Moroccan TV production, the late Fatima Regragui died after a long illness.

The announcement was made by director Amine Nasseur, on his Facebook page. “Fatima Regragui bows out. May God, have her soul in his holy mercy,” he wrote. Which was later confirmed by Abderrahmane Regragui, brother of the deceased artist.

On social networks, many Internet users paid tribute to the deceased and prayed for her memory, offering their condolences to the family and relatives of the actress.

Born on February 15, 1941, Fatima Regragui had to her credit a rich repertoire of interpretations thanks to her multiple performances on television, in cinema, and in the theater. Her first appearances date back to the 1950s. She has played in several cinematographic works that have become cult classics such as “Adieu mère” (Mohamed Ismaïl, 2008) and “Mirage” (Ahmed Bouanani, 2001).
