“Mon Maroc”, a Book Tribute to Tourism Operators

“Mon Maroc” (My Morocco) is the title of the book just published by journalist and essayist Ahlam Jebbar at Première Ligne Edition, in tribute to tourism operators.

“This book comes at a time when Moroccan tourism operators are going through an unprecedented period, particularly trying, not to say dramatic for some”, explains in a press release Ahlam Jebbar, director of the specialized online newspaper Tourisma Post, which has just published her book tribute to tourism operators “My Morocco”.

This 240-page opus highlights a profession that is going through the worst ordeal in its history. This book is intended as a travel diary revisited in the harmonious maze of an exceptional destination through its assets, its culture, but also its women and men who work daily in this sector. The list of personalities included in the book is far from exhaustive, but as the author explains, “it’s a nice representative sample of this profession”.

The book is organized into five sections: major operators, association representatives, operators who make the difference, ONMT managers, the best ambassadors, and the new generation. The book thus has the originality of shedding light in the same way, both on the big bosses of large groups, and on those who are in direct contact with tourists, whether they are waiters, hotel concierges, receptionists or cook … without forgetting travel agents, guides and restaurateurs.(With Map)
