Maghrebian Writer Prize: Here is the list of selected works

The Alliance of writers of Morocco unveiled Saturday, January 8, the list of works nominated for the first edition of the “Maghrebian writer’s prize” named after the late Touria Lihi.

Out of 522 works received by the League from the different regions of the Kingdom, from the five Maghreb countries and Moroccan women from all over the world, 62 productions, all categories combined, have been selected for the “Maghreb writer’s prize” which will be presented to the jury comprising members of the Conseil des sages de la Ligue, as the Alliance of writers of Morocco informed in a press release.

In this list, works submitted by Moroccan writers Asmaa Al-Maaloumi, Asmaa Hayan, Saadia Ibn Mahmoud, Oumama Queziz, Balqis El Kebsi, Bahija Ben Ahmadi, Haddoum Bouchareb, Hassania Derkaoui, Hafida El Fayez, Hafida Bouamama, Hakima Al- Nozhi, Hanane Ayach and Hayat Haboul, Khadija El-Derbaki, Khadija Waqar, Zahra Amhou, Soukaina Maimouni, Salima Ben Ahmed, Souhaila Massa, Safaa Boujmil, Aisha Tahiri, Rania Al-Zoubairi, and Rihan Al-Zoubairi.

The prize for this first edition will be awarded on March 9 on the occasion of the National Day of the Woman Writers.
