Written by FDM

A campaign for the benefit of people living in the street was launched on Monday, January 3, in the prefecture of Agadir-Ida Outanane.

With the support of the National Initiative for Human Development (INDH), the authorities of the prefecture of Agadir-Ida Outanane have implemented a campaign for the benefit of people living in the street.

The aim of this initiative is to protect children, women, and the elderly from the cold wave while putting in place the necessary means to ensure their integration into society. The campaign thus provides social assistance services, day and night, as well as accommodation according to the needs of each person.

As part of this operation, held in collaboration with the Intilaka association and civil society actors in Agadir, roughly 19 children have already been taken in. This operation is carried out within the framework of strict compliance with preventive measures against Covid-19.
