International Paper Maroc today announced the completion of the renovation work launched a few months ago in two public schools located in the regions of Kenitra and Moulay Bousselham, a region where the group operates through an assembly center and employs staff there.

It is within the framework of the objectives of the Group’s 2030 vision and its continued commitment to strengthening the resilience of its local communities, that the two projects targeted renovations and improvements to the infrastructure of these two schools (for primary and secondary schools).

It also provided one of the two schools with a multimedia room, thus facilitating access to the digital world. This will undoubtedly help to create a more attractive learning environment for children.

In Morocco, the International Paper group, through its subsidiaries, CMCP-INTERNATIONAL PAPER and MED PACKAGING has chosen to express its commitment to the community through actions for the benefit of education, one of the four causes for which the group invests enormously and makes it one of the pillars of development for its strategy of commitment to communities (also include the fight against famine, disaster relief, health & well-being of people).

Thus, strongly convinced of the importance of the education sector in the development of communities, the group targeted actions contributing to the reception conditions of children within their educational establishment as well as actions to fight against the dropping out of school.
