On the occasion of a day devoted to the celebration of youth entrepreneurship, the Provincial Human Development Committee (CPDH) presented the achievements of “the Rehamna Youth Platform”, created in 2020, to support, supervise, train, and guide young project leaders, with a view to successfully break into the economic realm. Emphasis was placed on the two flagship programs of this platform, namely skill building of young graduates and the support program for young project leaders, in addition to three-month training workshops, around the business environment, entrepreneurship, individual support, and marketing.
The day dedicated to the celebration of youth entrepreneurship was notably part of the 3rd program “Improvement of income and economic inclusion of young people” under phase III of the National Initiative for Human Development (INDH). For the year 2020-2021, some 121 projects were created in Rehamna province under the said program. With a total cost of 21,617,814 DH, of which 42% is a contribution from the INDH, these projects, of which 19% of beneficiaries are women, will allow the creation of some 363 direct jobs in the province of Rehamna. The projects created within the framework of this program concern the sectors of industry (19%), crafts (18%), agriculture (12%), textiles (12%), audiovisual (10%) ), and catering (9%) in addition to other economic sectors.
