Written by FDM

The French Institute of Marrakech is launching its “Open Air Gallery” for contemporary creation in Morocco.

This call for production is intended for artists (sculptor, plastic surgeon, etc.) who will install their works permanently in the gardens of the French Institute in Marrakech and the Maison Denise Masson.

As part of its commitment to support contemporary creation, particularly affected during this difficult period of Covid-19, the French Institute of Marrakech invites amateur and professional artists to respond to the call for projects “Open Air Gallery”.

The artists will have the choice of dimensions, materials used (taking into consideration the weather conditions) as long as the works meet the specifications imposed, that they are adapted to the dedicated space, that they comply with safety standards and that they guarantee the longevity of the work. The French Institute of Marrakech will bring together a committee to select the works that best meet the specifications.
