An initiative of the RIHLA performing arts company, the Salam Forum for Contemporary Arts aims to give back its letters of nobility to the city and to culture, neglected in these times of pandemic.
“It is a childhood dream to create an event to celebrate tolerance, openness, peace, coexistence and the values of living together. I always tried to do this with Rihal. Sidi Kacem is culturally and economically marginalized”, assures Abdellatif Nhaila, founder of the event.
Designed as a humanitarian crossroads bringing together young people, artists and intellectuals in order to extend bridges of knowledge and dialogue, resolve differences and consolidate the values of citizenship and peace in the war against extremism through art and culture, the forum is also an opportunity to celebrate each year the pioneers of world peace and their achievements by dedicating the edition to them and designating their country as a State of Honor.
