Es Saadi is a place intimately linked to the incredible history of the Bauchet family who opened Morocco’s first casino in Marrakech at the start of the 1950s, followed later by the opening of a hotel where many celebrities stayed, such as Mike Jager, or Josephine Baker.
Managed since 1966 by Élisabeth Bauchet-Bouhlal, the founder’s daughter, Es Saadi has become a flagship of the luxury hotel industry. The Palace Es Saadi is thus one of the rare privileged places where luxury and refinement “à la française” subtly blend with the tradition of Moroccan hospitality. A magical place, where everyone quickly feels at home. The architecture of the Palace is indeed an invitation to travel through its 90 sumptuous suites, with terraces overlooking the park and the Atlas mountain range, and its dream Villas imagined by the architect Aziz Lamghari and opened in 2007.
With its 90 suites of incredible proportions (100 to 160 m² ) and multiple inspirations, Palace Es Saadi pays homage to all directions and to contemporary architecture. Each suite, a concentration of luxury and refinement, offers a unique moment, just like the place. This is the case of the Deluxe suite with Italian design on the top floor which offers a breathtaking view of the Atlas; the Executive with authentic charm and precious details invites to a 180 ° view of the city and the hotel swimming pool; the Superior Corner Suite with its unique decoration or the Junior Suite, intimate and warm …
Everything in the palace invites a stopover in a cocoon where everything is luxury, beauty and serenity. And the icing on the cake, a Butler service and a Clefs d’Or concierge service are dedicated to serving the suites to make your every wish come true.
Lovers of literature and art will find their happiness in the library area and its pretty selection of books. On the 1st floor of the Palace, there are accessible art exhibitions that showcase Moroccan creation.
For a more intimate stay, the 10 villas are secretly nestled in the Palace gardens. The Favorite Villa reflects the splendor of oriental palaces, the Roman Villa and pays tribute to the splendor of Ancient Rome, the Persian Villa is all dressed in blue, and the Villa Thousand and One Nights, is magical and majestic with its yellow and orange play of light. Last but not least the Andalusian Villa, which is dressed in warm colors. Covering an area of 160 to 210 meters, each Villa has its own private swimming pool and the services of an appointed butler.
Facing the Palace, 8 ksars stand. These are buildings of ancestral inspiration that pay tribute to Berber culture. True cocoons, these 160 m² ksars are suitable for families or groups of friends. The ksars also offer direct access to the 2,400 m² swimming pool.
With its 5 restaurants with different universes, recipes are prepared with fresh and organic products from the family farm “Le Potager du Bled”. The Es Saadi Marrakech palace offers gourmet cuisine with Moroccan and international influences.
La Cour des Lions
This gourmet restaurant, the menu of which was developed with the chef Fatéma Hal, delicately revisits the traditional dishes forgotten by Moroccan cuisine.
The Othello restaurant
This restaurant offers Venetian cuisine based on seafood.
The Lagon & Jardin restaurant with the Salad Bar
Light, good and delicious, is the concept of this restaurant which allows you to create your tailor-made salad by selecting your favorite ingredients from the buffet.
This enchanting place, unique in Marrakech, by its surface area (3,000 m² covered spa and 1,000 m² of solarium terrace) and its holistic philosophy, is spread over 3 floors around a century-old tree. The place bathed in light and surrounded by nature is an invitation to serenity and reflexion. Close to nature, some massages are also offered in the gardens, in the shade of palm trees, such as the Amma massage.
In the Spa, you will experience an exclusive and luxurious holistic journey thanks to this range of offers: Oriental Thermae , Dior Institut, Hammams and Signature massages. We fell in love with “Total Relaxation”, a 90-minute massage that immerses you in a state of serenity and extreme zenitude.
The most cutting-edge and prestigious brands (La Sultane de Saba; Micheline Arcier Aromatherapy; Thali; Phyto) are used in the Spa. At the Dior Institut, the range of Dior skincare products is obviously privileged.
