Empowerment of women: positive results for the FLOWER project

It is a highly positive assessment that crowned the “Flower” project intended to strengthen the empowerment and socio-economic resilience of women working in rural areas.

To end in style the successful experiences of the “Flower” Project, Es.Maroc.org organized a day of granting assistance scholarships with an amount of 43,000dh / each, as financial support in order to begin the procedures for obtaining certification and labeling in the fields of food, health, and cosmetics safety for 6 selected women’s cooperatives.

The project also offers a digital opportunity to online store cooperatives on a marketplace platform, giving them better visibility of their products and services and receiving orders directly.


The FLOWER project, funded by the Union Pour la Méditerranée which aims to strengthen the empowerment and socio-economic resilience of women working in rural areas while offering them access to new market opportunities both at the national level and online. Implemented by the association Entreprise Sociale Maroc, in partnership with COSPE ONLUS, and the Center of Arab Women for Training and Research-CAWTAR.

The overall objective of the FLOWER project was to raise women workers’ awareness of their socio-economic rights, the health risks of the pandemic, and the opportunities in terms of law, funds, and market functioning, in order to obtain better working conditions, of production, quality, and hygiene of food products, distribution channels and access to local and national markets.
