Children of Africa Foundation To Host an Exceptional Concert by Sofia Mestari

Sofia Mestari & The Trinityband to perform at an exceptional concert in Ivory Coast on June 26, 2021.

The event which is sponsored by Dominique Ouattara, First Lady of Ivory Coast and President of the Children Of Africa Foundation is organized at the initiative of the French Institute of Ivory Coast and with the support of the Moroccan Embassy.
Sofia Mestari, known for her sensitivity and her rich career, will share her passion and her commitments during an exceptional concert. For this event, Sofia Mestari will be accompanied by Trinitybandest, a group of Jazz, Jazz-fusion, Soul and Gospel composed of talented Ivorian musicians.

Present in 11 African countries (Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Gabon, Guinea, Madagascar, Mali, Republic of the Central African Republic, Senegal and Togo), this Foundation works to offer a better world to African children in difficulty or precarious family situations. The Foundation’s actions also include assistance to single mothers and young girls deprived of school education. Children of Africa also supports local populations in their community development initiatives.As a reminder, in 2000, Sofia Mestari won the Eurovision shortlist in the legendary venue of the Olympia in Paris and represented France in Stockholm. She debuted with her first album “On aura le Ciel” and began a series of concerts hailed by the public and the press. In 2003, the album “En Plein Cœur de la Nuit” was released, which included the hit singles “Ne Pars Pas” and “Ce que tu m’as fait”. In 2020, the artist joined the “Enfants du Désert” association chaired by Laetitia Chevallier and then becomes its ambassador, an association that works for the benefit of populations in precarious situations in the province of Er-Rachidia in Morocco.
