Written by FDM

The Federation “Business and Professional Women” (BPW-Morocco) distributed Wednesday, February 9, wheelchairs and a lot of clothes to residents of the multipurpose center for the elderly in Sefrou.

In the presence of many women diplomats and wives of ambassadors of foreign countries in Morocco, the Federation “Business and Professional Women” (BPW-Morocco) visited the residents of the multi-purpose center for the elderly in Sefrou to distribute a set of wheelchairs and clothes.

This solidarity action, which is part of the continuity of the various activities and actions organized by the Federation since 2016 in favor of the most vulnerable social categories, was also marked by a donation of blankets, food products, and hygiene products in Dar Talib of the territorial Commune of Aghbalou Aqorar under the province of Sefrou. In a statement to the MAP, the Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to Morocco, Jumana Souleiman Ali Ghneimat, highlighted the importance of this visit initiated by BPW-Morocco to the multipurpose center for the elderly and to Dar Talib.

Created in February 2014, the BPW-Morocco Federation brings together active and committed business and professional women based in Morocco who aim to develop a support network between Moroccan women, to federate their synergies, and to raise their potential through various activities. The BPW-Morocco Federation operates at the regional, national, and international levels, with, as its main objective, the emancipation of women and young girls through reflection, training, and action at the economic, social, and cultural levels.
