African Fashion Talents sheds light on africain designers in Casablanca

African Fashion Talents launches its first edition from May 3rd to 6th in Casablanca. An initiative led by Nawal Debbouze and Zaineb El Kadiri, and dedicated to fashion, creation and young talents.

Designers from all over the African continent got together for the first edition of the African Fashion Talents organized from May 3rd to 6th in Casablanca. Among the fine bunch of personalities recognized in the world, Alphadi, Adama Paris, the Moroccan designer who made a name for himself in New York Hisham Oumlil, former Miss Flora Coquerel Diana Opti, Frannie Leautier or Aida Touhri.

In addition to these names, the initiators of this project Nawal Debbouze and Zaineb El Kadiri have also put together a rich program: two shows hosted by journalist and presenter Alicia Fall. The first, on May 4th at the Morocco mall, with creations made in Africa on the catwalk. A competition whose jury is chaired by Alphadi, a forerunner in his field and the founding president of Fima, the unmissable African festival dedicated to fashion.

The second is scheduled for May 5th. It’s actually a show followed by a cocktail party at the Sofitel Casablanca Tour Blanche. The last day of the African Fashion Talents is reserved for sale at Sofitel Casablanca Tour Blanche creations signed by the participating artists.
