Covid-19: Morocco has acquired 65 million doses of Sinopharm and AstraZeneca vaccines

The government council held on December 24, was marked by a presentation on the vaccination campaign. The Minister of Health, Khalid Ait Taleb announced the acquisition of 65 million doses of vaccine by Morocco.

The countdown for the vaccination operation has started. Morocco has in fact acquired 65 million Sinopharm and AstraZeneca doses with the aim of vaccinating 25 million people.

Full-size simulations, at the level of all 2,900 vaccination stations for the entire vaccination process, including the cold chain and the computer monitoring platform were also carried out last Sunday.
Preparations for the launch of the national vaccination campaign have reached a “very advanced” stage, said the Minister of Health, quoted in a statement read by the Minister of National Education, Vocational Training, Higher Education and Scientific Research, government spokesman Saaid Amzazi, during a press briefing held at the end of the Government Council.
