Born and raised in Jeddah, by Saudi father and an Italian mother, Tamer walks in the footsteps of her mother, Cristina, former model who has previously collaborated with Giorgio Armani, La Perla or Gianfranco Ferre. In an interview with the Arab News site, the young woman said that she counted among her inspirations Gisele Bundchen and top Moroccan and Egyptian Imaan Hammam.

Taleedah didn’t think the world of fashion was open to her. Now she’s appeared on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar Arabia and has walked a major catwalk show. ‘When I was younger, it didn’t cross my mind not to see Saudi women on magazine covers or in fashion shoots, but as I got older, I thought “why do these women not look like me?”,’ Taleedah said in her Bazaar interview. ‘And why can modelling not be done in a way that’s respectful of our culture?

The young woman of the singular charm also mentioned her admiration for Princess Ameera bint Aidan bin Nayef al-Taweel in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar Arabia. “I really admire her and she’s an incredible figure for Saudi women. She is very pro-empowerment and I think that’s the way she conveys this message, and the way she portrays Saudi women, that’s inspiring. She is conservative but open-minded and respectful of everyone.”

After  Tunisian Hana Ben Abdesslem, the Moroccan Imaan Hammam and Nora Attal, looks like we have another Arab supermodel coming our way!
