Moroccan Caftan celebrated in Beirut

The Moroccan Caftan never ceases to shine worldwide. This Friday, October 13th, an artistic evening organized by the Moroccan Embassy in Lebanon and the Royal Air Maroc company was held in Beirut.

Moroccan designer Houria Berrada showcased an eclectic collection with innovative cuts and singular accessories  at the artistic evening organized in honor of the Moroccan culture. With more than 24 years of experience in the traditional Moroccan dress, Houria Berrada has organized several fashion shows in many countries such as the United States, France and the United Kingdom. ” This show was an opportunity to present the best models of Moroccan caftans ” she told the MAP.

The aim of this event was to promote the Moroccan heritage and its traditional attire in the Middle East through the gate of Lebanon, with the aim of highlighting the Moroccan art of living through caftan, culinary art and music, the organizers said.

In a statement to the press, Moroccan ambassador to Lebanon, M’hamed Grine, stressed that this Moroccan evening is part of the program adopted by the Moroccan embassy which aims to guarantee a continuous presence of the Kingdom in Lebanon by highlighting the many facets of Moroccan civilization.

Khalid Dziri, the regional delegate of Royal Air Maroc, explained that the goal of this evening, which is part of the celebrations of  RAM’s 60th anniversary, is  to strengthen relations between Morocco and Lebanon, make the authentic heritage of the Kingdom known and to promote the destination to Morocco.
