Madonna spotted in white gandoura and eastern jewelry at Oscars After Party

Written by FDM

We’re so accustomed to seeing Madonna, the queen of pop, experimenting with ethnic attire that it no more comes as a surprise.

After the Berber look for the MTV Music Awards, Madonna opted for a white gandoura dress with large bands of gold-colored sequins, accompanied by head jewelry, for the 2019 Academy Awards After Party that was held on Sunday, February 24 in Los Angeles. A choice that is now part of the star’s favorites.

The 91st Academy Awards were filled with historic firsts and emotional moments, from @blackpanther‘s Ruth E. Carter and Hannah Beachler becoming the first black women to win in their respective categories (Costume Design and Production Design) to @ladygaga and Bradley Cooper’s stirring performance of their award-winning song “Shallow.” After the event, the biggest names in #Hollywood celebrated at “The Party,” entertainment mogul @guyoseary and @madonna’s famed after-party, where there is a strict ban on social media posts. TIME partnered at the event with the artist and photographer JR—a 2018 #TIME100 honoree—for an exclusive look at last night’s winners and partygoers. See more pictures at the link in bio. To reveal this surprising look, the singer of “Like a virgin” posted a series of photos and videos highlighting her evening appearance. The look consists of overlayed jewelry with a flat gold sandal, braids and glittering headpiece with a pendant on the forehead … Surely the oriental ornament has no more secrets for Madonna.
