The high-end shoemaker IO settles in Marrakech

Written by FDM

It is in the heart of the prestigious M-Avenue that the Moroccan luxury shoe brand Io has chosen to open its second store. This decision allows the brand to get even closer to its customers in Marrakech.

After a first store opened in 2013 in Casablanca, the high-end shoe brand IO has just bought a second store on M-Avenue, the new posh address in Marrakech. The choice of this city is not fortuitous. As an international, trendy, and jet-set destination par excellence, Marrakech is also one of the main markets for the Io brand.

Io was born 8 years ago, but the creation of the House is part of a family tradition. Three generations have succeeded each other for nearly 40 years at the service of international luxury shoe brands such as Kenzo, Robert Clergerie, Gucci, Charles Jourdan, and Sonia Rykiel.

Official shoes sponsor for Caftan show (since 2015) and official Casa Fashion Show (since 2017), Io also participated in the Dubai International Film Festival in 2017, and exported its know-how to the other side of the Atlantic, to Beverly Hills.
