Golden Globes’ dress code against sexual harassment

Written by FDM

A real sensation that has hit the film industry since last October. After #metoo hashtag made the rounds on social networks along with many talks, the stars continue to show their commitment to fight sexual harassment.

Jessica Chastain, Meryl Streep, Emma Stone … They are the first to have stated their intention to dress in black at the next Golden Globes. The reason for this dress code? A way to protest against sexual harassment in Hollywood.

Recently, the American weekly Time Magazine celebrated the scale of the phenomenon that the hashtag #metoo has created, aimed at publicly denouncing scandals involving men of power. This movement continues in light of the Golden Globes 2018 and already several actresses have shown their involvement.  Could the movement also extend to the next Oscars?
