Gigi Hadid dismisses runway crasher from Chanel’s Paris Fashion Week show

Written by FDM

On Tuesday, October 1, a catwalk-crasher just invaded the finale of Chanel 2020 Spring-Summer show in Paris Fashion Week, while striking a pose. Fortunately for them, Gigi Hadid was there to save the day.

A young woman, wearing a tweed suit and a hat evoking the classic look of the French house, crashed the catwalk and started walking with the models during the finale in the Grand Palais, according to reports.

She then went out of her way to pose in front of Gigi Hadid. After a mini-confrontation, Gigi Hadid escorted the intruder off the podium, according to images posted on Twitter. The top American model seemingly strong-armed the comedian away from the main action while the rest of Chanel’s model cast, which also included Kaia Gerber, looked on and eventually a group of them surrounded the duo. Finally, Benoliel acquiesced and was shepherded down a stairway by Hadid.

According to reports, the prankster was identified as French comedian and performer Marie Benoliel who goes by the user name of Marie S’infiltre on Youtube. She had already crashed the Etam show earlier this week. It is unclear whether she was invited to the show or if she managed to sneak in past the tight security.
