The African younger generation has been put in the spotlight on the second day of the International Festival of African Fashion (FIMA). Four young Moroccan talents took part in the remarkable show.

On November 22, the new generation of young designers, supermodels, jewelers and leatherworkers presented their creations under the thunderous applause of the big audience in light of the 20th anniversary of the famous event founded by the notorious designer Alphadi.

An exceptional evening which saw the participation of four young talents from Morocco. Two of them were selected following a modeling competition for both men and women. It saw the consecration of Soulayma Abdellaoui, from Rabat, and Rachid Tlemseni from Marrakech as best new models who were granted the chance to participate in the show.

Another competition took place prior to the event to select 14 “Young Creators” in Africa. Among them are 2 Moroccans: Intissar Baiz and Youssef Drissi , both of whom presented their collections among others on the same evening.

A sublime edition which relocated for the first time from Niger to land in Dakhla.
