Ellie Saab gets inspired by Game of Thrones for his latest collection

World-renowned Lebanese fashion designer Elie Saab presented a breathtaking collection that was reportedly inspired from medieval fashion. Thus, some think that he might have gone heavy on the “Game of Thrones” theme.

During the autumn winter show presented as part of the Paris couture fashion week on 5 July, Elie Saab epic collection presented an magisterial collection of gowns that could fit in any medieval themed series.

Fashion editor of the magazine Harper’s Bazaar , Erica Gonzalez notes in her article that  “At a closer look, it seemed like the real source of inspiration was the wardrobe on Game of Thrones.”

The editor  reports in her article some of details from the show suggesting an GoT inspired atmosphere: “Shawls”, “Draped gowns”, “Gilded accents”, the dresses endowed with capes. Also the set and the name “A Tale of Fallen Kings,” was a giveaway for the editor.

Here are some creations that Sansa Stark, Daenerys Targaryen, Cersei Lannister and Melisandre could have adopted:
