Bouchra Jarrar presents her Spring 2016 couture collection

Here she is, breaking the mold one more time. Following a few more feminine collections; like Elie Saab and Chanel’s, designer Bouchra Jarrar hits back once again with her signature simplicity and understated elegance, in a military inspired collection, for her Spring 2016 couture show.

Juxtaposing and layering heavy and structured materials such as velvet and jacquard, with lighter romantic fabrics like silk and lace, Bouchra Jarrar’s Spring 2016 couture collection show was yet another sophisticated affair, with the French designer of Moroccan descent’s classy take on military wear.

Set in the lounges of the Town Hall of Paris’s Fourth District, as per usual Jarrar chose to present her creations in a more intimate environment, and that in the presence of fashion A-listers; including influential editors, buyers, and private clients.
