Named A DNA as in “a DNA”, the new collection of Amine Bendriouich is also a reference to his name. The name of the collection also means “Amine DNA”. This depicts a summary of his artistic evolution and everything he has learned in recent years.”It’s been 10 years since I started, and this collection is in a way a focus of everything I’ve had the chance to learn during the last 10 years”, he explains to HuffPost Morocco . “It reflects all the improvements I’ve made in my work in terms of cuts, embroidery, details and techniques.”
The Moroccan designer will showcase about twenty looks in the capital of the UAE for his spring-summer 2018 collection, during a show held Saturday, October 28 at Hall 3 of the Dubai Design District, and three days of exhibition punctuated by exchange and meetings.
If he’s taking part of Fashion Forward, it’s because he thinks Dubai is now the capital of fashion in the region.”The UAE is making a lot of effort to develop fashion and design in the region, they have specialized media, there is a real industry, it’s interesting to open up to this part of the world, so that fashion can be developed throughout the MENA region, ” Amine Bendriouich explained.
