ZAZ, Saida Fikri, Fatym Layachi and more celebrate humans and nature in Chant des Colibris’ main concert

The French Institute of Casablanca, has organized Le Chant des Colibris, in collaboration with the Movement Colibris association and other actors of the civil society.  An event to inspire, connect and support citizens who aspire to put ecology and solidarity as a life priority.

“The consolidating event of Le Chant des Colibris is a novel format articulating music, thoughts and poetry to resonate and dream with the world”, reads a statement from organizers.

Artists ZAZ, Tryo, Aziz Sahmaoui, Gael Faure, Saida Fikri and personalities such as Cyril Dion, Fatym Layachi and many other guests shared the stage late into Saturday’s night, October 6, to celebrate the pleasure of being together around the symbolism of Hummingbirds (Colibris).

Meantime, gatherings around projects related to food, energy, habitat, collaborative economy, responsible consumption, democracy, and education, also took place throughout the event.

Designed as a place for family gatherings and festive events, Le village des Colibris (village of hummingbirds) is a series of initiatives allowing the general public to discover through participative activities, a society where humans and nature would are the focus of each project. The actors of civil society: collectives, associations, citizens … offered workshops, exhibitions, discussions, participatory actions … around food, energy, housing, responsible consumption, education …

Festive and joyous, generous and inventive, sensitive and sensible, Le Chant des Colibris has communicated a beautiful energy, as an enthusiastic and sincere invitation to take a flight … of hummingbird!
