The Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT) made quite the impression during the World Travel Market tourism fair scheduled from November 7 to 9, 2022 in London. According to a press release, the office has won Best Stand Design 2022 award.
“This award highlights once more Morocco as a destination which reinforces our commercial and promotional strategy on the British market. A market to which we attach great importance and for which we have great ambitions,” says Adel El Fakir, CEO of the ONMT.
According to the independent jury that awarded this prize, the outstanding ONMT stand took away the prize for honoring the Moroccan heritage. Its visibility, its structure, its design, and its animation are other criteria for its selection. Morocco’s stand was thus adorned with the colors and designs of the new ONMT campaign. The size, ie 630 m2 is a record area since it is the largest stand ever built by the ONMT.
It should be noted that this prize and the consecration that accompanies it reinforces all the efforts of the ONMT on the British market which is of extreme importance for the Moroccan destination. It is, in fact, the third market in flow, i.e. 600,000 arrivals in 2019, and the second in value with 2.2 million overnight stays. The market recovery rate at the end of August 2022 is 72%.
