World championship Vietnam’s martial art: Salma Benhammadi and Hassna Belakhdar medalists

Moroccan team amassed a total of 28 medal including 7 golds at the World championship of Vietnam’s traditional martial arts held from August 23 to 25 in Hanoi. Two superwomen were among the athletes: Salma Benhammadi and Hassna Belakhdar.

7 gold medals, 9 silver and 12 bronze medals is the result of the Moroccan team at the end of the second World championship of Vietnam’s traditional martial arts held from August 23 to 25 in Hanoi. The competition included 250 athletes representing 28 countries including 18 Moroccans who play in three schools (Gia Long Vo Dao, Thieu Lam Phat Gia Queen and Viet Vo Dao).

In the Moroccan team, two women managed to win during this competition, namely Salma Benhammadi and Hassna Belakhdar. The former won gold in codified combat with weapons, the bronze in codified combat without weapons and twice the silver in technique with weapons. The same discipline for which Hassna Belakhdar obtained the bronze as in the technical category without weapons.
