World Bank invests $ 55 Million for Youth Employability in the Marrakech-Safi Region

Written by FDM

The World Bank will contribute with a check for $ 55 million to support the project of the economic inclusion of young people, especially women, in the Marrakech-Safi region.

The World Bank is helping young people in the Marrakech-Safi region. Unemployed women and men who are neither in school nor in training will benefit from this investment.

Also, young startuppers, as well as small and medium-sized entities operating in value chains with high growth potential, are targeted with this project.

In concrete terms, the project will build on their skills by supporting them and launching programs tailored to the needs of the labor market (including guidance services and lifelong learning) and develop synergies between public and private actors. Another announcement: the implementation of a communication strategy promoting gender equality.
