An eclectic program rich with funk, soul, blues, Mandingo, African and Moroccan sounds, along wirh four great international artists, are the elements of the 6th edition of the “Ramadan Nights”, organized from May 24 to 30 by the French Institute of Morocco in several cities of the country.
The first singer is none other than the Moroccan diva Oum! Known for the ability to captivate her audience through a unique voice and rhythm. The second is the singer of Cape Verdean and Guinea-Bissau origin, Monica Pereira who proposes a trip from Paris to Brazil through the land of her ancestors. The third artist is Tunisian Dorsaf Hamdani, who plays Barbara and Fairouz in each of her songs. A fine mixture. A marvel to savor!
Last but not least, is the Sudanese Alsarah accompanied by the band The Nubatones. The band that has appeared in many festivals and concert halls around the world, was born after several conversations, at dinners, between Alsarah and Rami El Aasser (member of The Nubatones) on traditional songs of Sudan, the model of modern migration and cultural exchange between Sudan and Egypt.
All of these interesting musical meetings are scheduled in Agadir, Casablanca, El Jadida, Essaouira, Fez, Kenitra, Meknes, Oujda, Rabat, Tetouan, or in Marrakech.
