On November 7th, White House advisor and daughter of US President Donald Trump went to visit women farmers in the Sidi Kacem, a town in the Gharb region in light of her Women’s Global Development and Prosperity (W-GDP) program.
The video making the rounds on social media sees Ivanka Trump in what appears to be a welcome party, dancing and clapping to the sounds of Moroccan traditional music.
Ivanka landed in Morocco on November 6th and traveled from Rabat to Sidi Kacem today, November 7, with the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) CEO Sean Cairncross. The mission of the trip was to assess the development of the White House’s Women’s Global Development and Prosperity (W-GDP) initiative.
According to Morocco World News, the visit to Sidi Kacem also included a signing ceremony for two new agreements with partner organizations. These agreements will provide Moroccan beneficiaries with over $6 million to support additional training on farming practices, financial management, and literacy.
