The pupils of the different primary schools were invited to think about the best way to compose a poem in connection with the set theme “Values in Color: Respect”. Collective work was organized in each class by teachers from 170 schools competing for this competition.
“The proposal of each school is based on the composition of an illustrated poetry related to the set theme,” explains Salim Kacha, Associate Manager Stationery Brand – North Africa at BIC Morocco.
While the poem’s writing and spelling must be perfectly taken care of, its form remains free; its structure and the presence of rhymes and worms are not on the list of direct selection criteria. Prose poems are also accepted, as well as any new prosaic or poetic form. However, each poem must contain between 20 and 25 lines and must be illustrated with drawings related to the poem.
The three best projects will be selected by an internal jury at BIC Morocco, and the lucky winners will receive their prizes in February 2020.
