The University of Marrakech ranked in top 4 of the best universities in North Africa

Cadi Ayyad University (UCA) in Marrakech is among the top 4 best universities in North Africa, according to Webometrics from the Cybermetrics Lab, a research group measuring universities’ web presence in terms of files and scientific articles.

UCA came in 4th position behind the Egyptian universities of Cairo, Alexandria, and Mansoura, in the ranking of the Cybermetrics Lab, a research group under the Superior Council of Scientific Research (CSIC), a research organization in Spain, measuring the web presence of universities in terms of files and other scientific papers. According to the initiators of this ranking, web indicators are considered to be key elements in the correct, complete and in-depth assessment of the overall performance of the university, taking into account its activities and results as well as their relevance and their impact.

UCA is one of the leading public universities nationally and regionally. Since its creation in 1978, it has ensured its full role in the creation and transmission of knowledge and to stand out in research and innovation. Over the years, it has acquired other structures that have further strengthened the landscape of higher education. The UCA has nearly 14 sites and establishments in the cities of Marrakech, El Kelaâ des Sraghna, Safi, and Essaouira.
