Sunday, January 9, was the kickoff of the CAN 2021 which will be played until February 6, 2022, in Cameroon. For this well-attended competition, 24 referees, 31 assistant referees, and 8 video assistant referees from 36 countries were designated.
Among them, eight Moroccans including two women: Fatiha Jermoumi and Bouchra Karboubi.
Placed in Group C, the Atlas Lions won on Monday, January 10, against Ghana. And they’re expected to play on January 14 and on January 18, against Comoros, and Gabon respectively.
