Organized by the “Association provinciale pour le développement des zones montagnardes de la province d’Ifrane”, this event aims to highlight the Amazigh cultural heritage, work to preserve it and revive cultural activity in the province.
It also aims to pay tribute to the Amazigh woman as a symbol of militancy and resistance for the protection of her customs and Amazigh culture for future generations.
Speaking on this occasion, the president of the association organizing the festival, Mohamed Mellouk underlined the richness of the programming of this cultural event, by emphasizing the major role played by the Amazigh woman in various fields throughout history.
Organized around the theme “Amazigh woman and the challenge of development in North Africa” , the festival knows the participation of several neighbor countries including Algeria, Tunisia and Libya, besides Morocco.
The festival includes artistic evenings, workshops, thematic conferences and art exhibitions. The Tililli (Freedom) festival also includes a tribute ceremony to many prominent figures from the world of culture and art in the province for their contribution to the enrichment of Amazigh culture.
