After Sidi Moumen in Casablanca, Tangiers, Agadir, and Fez, the Ali Zaoua Foundation will open its 5th cultural center Les Etoiles, this time, a few steps away from the Jamaâ El Fna square in Marrakech.
Nabil Ayouch, Chairman of the Ali Zaoua Foundation, Frédéric Oudéa, General Manager of the Société Générale Group and President of the Societe Generale Foundation, and Ahmed El Yacoubi, Chairman of the Executive Board of Societe Generale Maroc, signed a partnership agreement at the end of June.
For the Moroccan director, “this is an act of commitment to Moroccan youth and Moroccan talent”. Indeed, the Les Etoiles cultural center offers an accessible extracurricular offer, a diversified and open cultural program, as well as training in the arts and creative trades.
In other words, it supports young people from disadvantaged backgrounds or stigmatized neighborhoods and conveys values of tolerance while encouraging entrepreneurship. “Talent exists, of course, but it is confined to only certain cities or neighborhoods. Each territory has its specificities. And one of the vocations of the Ali Zaoua Foundation is to listen to this Moroccan youth wherever it is according to its peculiarities,” as Nabil Ayouch recalled. In each of the centers, nearly 1,000 children are registered, not counting those taking part in the various events and performances organized.
