Terre de Femmes Prize Rewards Solidarity Commitment in Favor Of The Environment

Yves Rocher Foundation has awarded in Marrakesh, on March 16, three women committed to environment protection and biodiversity. They are Nawal Ibn El Fadil, Malika Mouilek and Myriam Idrissi.

Born of a desire to highlight women committed to the environment and sustainable development, the Terre de Femmes prize, initiated by the Yves Rocher Foundation, rewards these women yearly. This year, the Foundation has received several projects for the Terre de Femmes Prize in Morocco. The jury, chaired by Pr. Katima Alaoui, chose to distinguish three exemplary women who carry an original and necessary project.

Three women who spare no effort to create and live their project and who have rivaled energy and daring. They are respectively;  Nawal Ibn Al Fadil, rewarded (5000 euros) for her action of above ground cultivation, Malika Mouilek (3000 euros) for her project of creation of a garden where she exerts an organic and healthy agriculture to preserve the ground, and finally Myriam Idrissi (2000 euros) who has created Jnane Nahla, a garden set up in her native village to create a life source for bees.

It is to note that the Terre de Femmes prize is awarded every year in France and in 8 other countries, including Morocco. It aims to highlight women who act daily in favor of the environment and highlight their commitment to serve as an example and open paths …
