Tala Hadid and five other Moroccan filmmakers recount their lockdown

The Moroccan Cinematographic Center (CCM) has invited six Moroccan directors including Tala Hadid and Faouzi Bensaidi to film their vision of the lockdown caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.

They had carte blanche. Six Moroccan filmmakers took part in the Moroccan Cinematographic Center project and filmed “their vision of this labyrinthine world where the cards fall back and the horizon gets confused “, as the organization describes.

Equipped only with their smartphones, Tala Hadid, Mohamed Mouftakir, Faouzi Bensaidi, Hakim Belaabbes, Adil Fadili, and Yassine Marco Marroccu thus recount their experiences in short films.

A series of productions screened successively from November 9 with the short film “Distance” by Mohamed Mouftakir, setting the tone of the project. The six videos are available on the MCC website:
