#STOPILLETTRISME, the first program launched Morocco to fight illiteracy in employment

L’Oréal Maroc is the first company to have launched the #STOPILLETTRISME program in Morocco. It’s the first and only association of companies committed to fighting illiteracy, especially in employment in France.

L’Oréal Maroc is the first company to have launched the #STOPILLETTRISME program in Morocco. It offers companies the opportunity to set up an innovative tutoring system with the objective of supporting illiterate employees engaged in vocational training.

On March 1, 2019, the first session of 15 beneficiaries was implemented in partnership with Access Intérim Services. These 15 beauty consultants work within Access Intérim Services on behalf of L’Oréal Maroc. They were able to undergo training to improve their level of French with the ACPD organization.

On the L’Oréal side, 33 volunteer employees participated in this civic initiative as tutors. Their main role was to provide additional and personalized support to the training followed by the beneficiaries, by devoting one hour per month to them. 15 tutoring sessions were provided during this period.

Friday, December 13, at the end of the 9 months of training, a certificate ceremony was organized at the Farah hotel bringing together the beneficiaries, the training organization ACPD, Access Intérim Services and many other interested companies through this citizen initiative. The launch of the second promotion is scheduled for March 2020.
